Inspired by the Sci-Fi and supernatural worlds of The X-Files and Stranger Things, Onyx Element explores the depths, dangers, and mysterious truths grounded in the Native American spirit world as seen through the eyes of a young man who has fled from his past in all ways except for his art.

Gabriel Ironshield Skye is a Native American graphic novelist based in NYC. Gabriel's latest book and title character, Dr. Onyx, are pop culture hits. Unbeknownst to him, his stories and drawings, with their roots in Native American mythology, have begun to leave the realm of his imagination and manifest in this world. A secret government organization that monitors extra-natural phenomena has taken notice... and would like to have a word.
